Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd is seeking an Agricultural Engineering Lecturer to deliver training and assessment in land-based engineering at a Suffolk college. This fixed-term role is ideal for an agricultural engineer or machinery specialist looking to pass on industry knowledge.

You will teach and assess land-based engineering up to Level 3, deliver engaging theory and practical learning, support learners progress and share up-to-date knowledge of agricultural machinery and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Current experience in agricultural or land-based engineering.
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent industry qualification.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
• Teaching, training or assessing experience is advantageous.

Salary: £31,000–£35,000 per annum

Potential market supplement: Up to £5,000 per annum

Henry Blue is working with a land-based college in Suffolk seeking an Agricultural Engineering Lecturer to deliver training and assessment in land-based engineering.

We're looking for someone with:

• Relevant, current experience in agricultural or land-based engineering.
• A relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent industry qualification.
• A good standard of Maths and English, ideally GCSE grade 4/C or above.
• Teaching, training or assessing experience is advantageous.

A teaching qualification may be beneficial, but candidates with strong industry experience looking to move into education are encouraged to enquire.
