Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an Agricultural Engineer in Chelmsford to service and repair a wide range of modern agricultural equipment within a well-supported environment.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, routine maintenance, and customer liaison, with a structured Monday-Friday week and enhanced overtime. A strong background in agricultural machinery or mechanical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with agricultural machinery or mechanical engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of machinery maintenance, diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic systems and software.
• Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Complete warranty, chargeable and internal repair work.
• Safely handle heavy machinery and use specialist tools.
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections.
• Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales.
