Job Description:

As an Agility Lead, you will champion the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices, empowering teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. Join us to drive innovation and high performance within our Commercial and Investment Bank.

As an Agility Lead in the Commercial and Investment Bank, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. You will leverage your deep knowledge of product development methodologies and Agile principles to guide and support teams. Your leadership, communication, and coaching skills will be instrumental in empowering teams to adapt to changing requirements and priorities, making impactful decisions that shape the operational and business direction of your sub-function.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and coach teams to adopt and implement agile methodologies.
  2. Promote open communication and engagement among team members.
  3. Ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  4. Use advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders.
  5. Communicate organizational impediments to leadership.
  6. Develop and implement short to mid-term operational and transformation plans.
  7. Prioritize tasks and manage resources to achieve product goals efficiently.
  8. Utilize metrics and evidence-based decisions to drive progress.
  9. Identify trends and generate original ideas to contribute to new policies and best practices.
  10. Coordinate with business units and manage single value streams.
  11. Lead initiatives in London, ensuring alignment with local and global objectives.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  1. Minimum of five years of experience in a relevant domain, focusing on coaching teams and individuals on agile methodologies and project management.
  2. Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices.
  3. Expertise in agile delivery and approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
  4. Ability to guide teams through complex projects with iterative progress and adaptability.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  6. Domain knowledge, especially experience working within financial banking environments.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  1. Formal training or certifications in Agile coaching.
  2. Knowledge of product modeling.
