Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for an Agile Scrum Master to facilitate Scrum events and coach the team in Agile practices. The role is based in Knutsford, requiring 2-3 days on-site work. Candidates must be within an hour's commuting distance or willing to relocate. The daily rate is £400 via PAYE, and the contract lasts until 31/12/2025.

Role Title: Agile Scrum Master

Days on site: 2-3 days onsite (non-consecutive)

Rate: £400 per day - PAYE via Umbrella Only

Role Description

• Facilitate Scrum Events: Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach Agile Practices: Guide the team and organisation on Agile/Scrum best practices.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate blockers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support Product Owner: Assist with backlog grooming and prioritisation.
• Promote Team Collaboration: Foster open communication and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor Progress: Track sprint metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity) and report to stakeholders.
• Shield the Team: Protect from external distractions and scope creep.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Encourage feedback and process enhancements.
• Facilitate Decision-Making: Help the team self-organise and make informed decisions.
