Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a part-time cleaner for Lower House Farm Recycling Centre and Transfer Station. The role covers keeping the shared office building and staff areas clean, hygienic, and waste-free, around two hours per weekday.

It is a team role with colleagues from the recycling centre, transfer station, and North Warwickshire Borough Council, with some promotion of council services. Fluent spoken English is required as advice is given to the public.

Responsibilities

• Clean the shared office and staff areas to a high standard each weekday.
• Keep staff areas hygienic, tidy and free from waste materials.
• Work as part of a team with colleagues from the recycling centre and council partners.
• Promote Warwickshire County Council services to the public.
• Comply with health and safety legislation.
• Promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Undertake any required training and use cleaning equipment after training.
