We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Delivery Manager to join our Bristol office on a 12-month contract, supporting our Data and Insight team. This role requires expertise in Agile methodologies and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams (up to three), ensuring Agile principles are embedded and continuously improved.

The Agile Delivery Manager will act as a servant-leader, fostering an environment of self-organization and high-value delivery. Responsibilities include aligning teams, managing dependencies, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure transparency on progress, risks, and timelines. Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) is essential for managing work items and workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Agile Leadership & Facilitation: Guide multiple Agile teams, facilitate ceremonies, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders for effective delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage expectations, provide transparency, and facilitate prioritization.
  • Impediment Resolution: Identify and resolve blockers to maintain productivity.
  • Metrics & Insights: Track Agile metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Coaching & Development: Mentor teams to enhance Agile maturity.
  • Champion Best Practices: Promote Agile methodologies and foster a culture of agility and innovation.
What We’re Looking for in You
  • Proven Agile Delivery Experience: Success as an Agile Delivery Manager or Scrum Master, ideally in a data-driven environment.
  • Frameworks: Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methods.
  • Multi-Team Coordination: Ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Facilitation & Coaching: Skilled in leading Agile ceremonies and mentoring teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Azure DevOps Proficiency: Experience managing work items and workflows in ADO.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Understanding of Agile metrics like velocity and burndown charts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focus on driving efficiencies and learning.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams aligned with strategic goals.
  • User Story & Backlog Management: Craft clear user stories and prioritize work effectively.
  • Data & Insight Experience: Background working within Data and Insight teams.
  • DevOps & Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with DataOps, DevOps, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Certifications: Relevant Agile certifications such as CSM, ICAgile, etc.
  • Distributed Team Leadership: Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
