What you will be doing

You will be on a development pathway to grow into the role of Support Solutions Architect and can expect to be involved in the following:

• Development of support solutions and inputs into bids, including written proposals, costs and scheduling; influencing design for support by working closely with design engineers as well as sales, finance and commercial functions.
• Develop key skills that are increasingly rare and increasingly vital within the industry.
• Gain exposure across all functions of the business to build knowledge of all aspects of business and engineering support activities.
• Learn how to develop support solutions for equipment and complex systems, how to develop technical and complex proposals and plans, and how to perform supporting analysis.
• Learn how to understand customer requirements and contracts, and how to apply technical expertise to influence these and other functions.

Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into the position.

Throughout the two-year development programme you will progress to the position of Support Solutions Architect.

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

• A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study (engineering preferred).
• Recently graduated or first professional experience in engineering or business; where business-based, you must also have competence or interest in engineering and/or technical subjects.
• Strong verbal and written communication (English).
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
• The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
