Job summary

Coder is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Agentic Engineering team, guiding technical direction and shaping the evolution of our agentic development experience. You will work with engineering, product, and design to deliver reliable, scalable systems across the agent harness and workflows.

You’ll coach engineers, raise the technical bar, and drive execution while evolving architecture to support changing models and capabilities. Strong leadership and hands-on engineering are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software teams and delivering results.
• Hands-on engineering with Go and distributed systems.
• Experience building with LLMs, agentic workflows, and model APIs.
• Ability to guide technical direction and tradeoffs across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a software engineering team within the Agentic Engineering organization.
• Set technical direction across agent harness, integrations, and workflows.
• Stay close to code, contributing to architecture and implementation decisions.
• Evolve agent execution, context management, and long-running workflows.
• Extend architecture as models and capabilities change.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate capabilities into developer experiences.
• Improve reliability, performance, and operability of agentic systems.
• Coach engineers and maintain a high execution bar.
