Firecom BV specializes in the sale, maintenance and servicing of two-way radios, radio networks, paging systems and alarm receivers for emergency response, industry, security, healthcare, and education. Serving Safety Regions in the Netherlands with our paging systems and alarm receivers plays a significant role within Firecom B.V. Our portfolio includes leading brands like Motorola, Kenwood, Swissphone, Procom, Hikvision and Avigilon. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an agent/representative to represent us in the United Kingdom.

What are we looking for?

An experienced professional with a strong background in the United Kingdom fire service, preferably an active (parttime) firefighter themselves. The initial focus will be on England, with expansion to Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We are looking for someone with extensive connections within the fire service sector and an affinity for telecommunications and technical products.

Responsibilities for the position of Agent/Representative:

• Actively approach fire brigades and fire services.
• Maintain client relationships with those responsible for fire service alerting systems.
• Draft and submit tenders.
• Visit clients and oversee pilot programs.
• Collaborate with the Public Safety Account Manager in the Netherlands.
• Provide monthly progress reports.

What do you bring to this position?

• Extensive experience within the UK fire service. You are an on-call firefighter or have been one in the past.
• A strong network in the fire service sector.
• Affinity with telecommunications and technical products.
• Experience in drafting and managing tenders.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United Kingdom. Living in England and also having access to your own car in England to visit clients.
