Agency Targeted Services Officer - Liverpool City Council
Location: Various locations across Liverpool
Pay Rate: £23.52 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary, ongoing

About the Role:
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an Agency Targeted Services Officer to join Liverpool City Council's Children and Young People's Services. This role focuses on supporting young people, families, and communities by delivering targeted interventions to reduce the risk of offending, promote positive development, and improve life outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with and supervise young people in various settings to ensure their safety and reduce risks of offending or harm.
  2. Develop and deliver individual and group-based interventions to support personal and social development.
  3. Advocate for young people, ensuring their voices are heard in service planning and delivery.
  4. Collaborate with statutory and voluntary partners to maximize resources and opportunities for young people.
  5. Maintain accurate case records and documentation using electronic recording systems.
  6. Support families to address areas of concern and facilitate integration into mainstream services.
  7. Ensure all programmes align with Liverpool City Council's equal opportunities commitment and non-discriminatory practices.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working with young people and families in community or social work settings.
  2. Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management for young people.
  3. Ability to engage with young people displaying challenging behavior.
  4. Excellent communication and assessment skills with experience in case management.
  5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  6. Must hold a relevant qualification related to youth work, social work, or a related field.
  7. Enhanced DBS check required.
