Job summary

Tops Day Nurseries Ltd. is seeking Agency Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across multiple locations in and around Wimborne Minster. This flexible, bank-hours role helps staff with daily routines and play activities, offering valuable experience in early years settings.

You will work across locations, assisting with care, feeding, and learning activities while building strong relationships with children, families, and teams. DBS check and eligibility to work are required or to be obtained.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is desirable but not essential.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's development and well-being.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting nursery staff in the care and supervision of children aged 0-5.
• Supporting daily routines such as feeding, changing, and helping children with toilet training.
• Engaging with children through fun and educational activities.
• Creating a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and nursery teams.
• Working across multiple nursery locations based on staffing needs.
