Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking experienced Chefs and Chef Managers to join a variety of catering settings across the Surrey area. Pay ranges from £16.00 to £22.00 per hour, with weekly pay and holiday pay.

Flexible shifts and ongoing assignments with potential for permanent roles are available, across care homes, schools, golf clubs, pubs, hotels, and contract catering sites. DBS checks are advantageous for school and care home assignments, and the agency emphasizes a supportive, friendly team

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Chef or Chef Manager.
• Experience in care homes, schools, hotels, pubs, restaurants, golf clubs, or contract catering.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate advantageous for certain assignments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Ensure food hygiene and health & safety compliance.
• Assist with menu planning, stock control, and ordering.
• Lead and support kitchen teams in Chef Manager and senior roles.
• Deliver a professional catering service to customers, residents, guests or pupils.
