Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy seeks an Agency Chef in Totland for September with flexible, ad hoc shifts to fit around your commitments.

You will support a care home kitchen, covering holidays and days off, with potential temp-to-perm options for the right candidate. Weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS is required.
• Previous experience working as a Chef.
• Good knowledge of IDDSI and modified-texture diets.
• Confidence running a kitchen independently.
• Availability to work selected days throughout September.
• A reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Running the kitchen independently with support from a Kitchen Assistant.
• Preparing and serving meals to residents.
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Ensuring meals meet individual dietary requirements.
• Applying IDDSI knowledge when preparing modified-texture meals.
