Job summary

Nexo People is seeking experienced Support Workers to cover flexible agency shifts in Salisbury, Wiltshire. You will deliver person-centred support, assist with activities, and help with personal care as part of a welcoming team.

The role offers regular and ad-hoc shifts with competitive hourly rates, weekly pay, and access to a local shifts app. This is a non-permanent position and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of paid support work experience within the last 2 years.
• Mandatory training completed (or willing to complete with us).
• Up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Compassionate, person-centred and proactive approach with safeguarding focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support and care to individuals each day.
• Encourage and assist people to try new activities that build confidence and independence.
• Provide respectful, dignified personal care where needed.
• Maintain clear, accurate records of daily activities and support.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings to support professional growth and consistent care.
• Administer medication safely in line with training and individual plans.
