Afterschool Club Assistant (Level 2)

Lilliput CE Infant School

11 hours, 2:45pm to 5:30pm Tuesday to Friday* (term time, 38 working weeks)

Grade D, SCP 5 to 6: £25,583 to £25,989 FTE (£13.26 to £13.47 per hour)

Actual salary: £6,359 to £6,636 pro rata per annum

Permanent, starting January 2026

We are recruiting for an Afterschool Club Assistant to join a team of practitioners who offer a safe, stimulating environment after school with high quality creative play opportunities for our pupils.

Under the supervision of the Afterschool Club Leader the candidate will provide safe, high-quality care for our children whilst maintaining a stimulating and enjoyable environment. Ideal candidates will have worked within a school environment and have experience of working with young children. They will be a team player, have a positive attitude and be able to communicate effectively with staff, children and their parents.
