Job summary

West Ashton Church of England (V.A.) Primary School is seeking a dedicated Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the after-school club. Fixed term contract until 31 August 2027, part-time 8 hours 15 minutes per week, 3:15pm–5:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 3:15pm–4:30pm (Fri), 38 weeks per year.

Located near Trowbridge, Wiltshire, the role focuses on providing a safe, engaging environment for primary-aged children and delivering high-quality activities.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with pupils, staff and parents.
• Self-motivated, energetic and proactive in delivering safe, high-quality care.
• Experience of working with children in play/educational settings.
• Food handling experience or certificate (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organising a range of activities for primary-aged children.
• Support the Wraparound Care Leader in day-to-day operations of the after-school club.
• Help maintain a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all attendees.
