Aftersales Manager

£35-45k basic with £55-65k OTE

Southport

Permanent/Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5pm) / 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am – 1pm)

Our client, a main dealer located in Southport is on the hunt for a skilled Aftersales Manager to join their team. The right candidate will be confident in pushing for growth within the dealership, alongside having the ability to grow a service department. This is an exciting hands-on opportunity with excellent growth and earning opportunities. This role will be based primarily within the Service department, so strong previous experience within service is highly desirable.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• You will be managing a team of 7
• You will manage and control WIP, warranty and debtors as well as, ensuring Aftersales franchise standards and manufacturer relationships are maintained.
• You will be in charge of a large team, and need to be a dynamic and hands-on individual. You must be able to command respect, trust and set the pace for the team, finding positive ways to achieve business results.
• You will be monitoring and controlling sales activity by reviewing performance with individuals and agreeing action required to improve sales.
• You will be able to demonstrate a progressive career to date and have a good understanding of departmental KPIs, modern motivational techniques and ideally have a strong technical background.

Your Background & Skill:

• Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager within a main dealer is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good at problem solving and identifying solutions for core issues, taking responsibility for your own decision and actions.
• Ability to manage a team and give instruction.
