Job summary

Lookers in Birmingham seeks an ambitious Aftersales Manager to lead the aftersales team across service, technicians and parts. You will report to the General Manager and drive customer satisfaction, upselling and KPI attainment in a busy, premium environment.

Role requires proven leadership, experience in transactional aftersales, and a full UK driving licence. 44-hour week, with Monday–Friday shifts, and a salary up to £70,000 OTE, including a basic up to £45,000-£55,000 DOE plus bonus.

• Experience in a premium automotive aftersales environment with a proven track record.
• Ability to lead a team of Service Advisors, Technicians and the Parts team.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in guiding, training and appraising the Service team to promote a forward-thinking culture and high potential.
• Maximise customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service experiences.
• Monitor department performance against budget and KPI targets, and implement improvement plans.
• Analyse local market statistics to identify opportunities within the territory.
• Organise forecasts and reports for the department in a clear, timely manner.

Salary: up to £70,000 OTE (including basic up to £45,000 - £55,000 DOE, plus bonus)

Are you looking for a career-defining role and longing to be part of something exciting? We are looking for an ambitious and talented Aftersales Manager to lead the aftersales team.

As a Aftersales Manager, you will act as a role model for customer service excellence for the team, always leading by example. You'll develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers and coach and motivate the team to do so too. You will be reporting into the General Manager and be responsible for Service Advisors, Technicians and the Parts team. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

You’ll be looking after a busy and professional department where your remit will be to manage all aspects of the department, ensuring a consistently high level of performance is met. From the day to day running of the Workshop, managing the Technicians / Mechanics to achieve maximum productivity, making sure that the Service Advisors are very customer focused and achieved upselling targets to budget and KPI monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing guidance, training and appraisals to each of the Service team to encourage a forward-thinking attitude which will help them achieve their full potential


• Maximise customer satisfaction by treating everyone as an individual and delivering an exceptional service experience


• Monitor department performance against budget, identify any shortfall and implement plans to improve the performance


• Analyse local market statistics to identify opportunities within the territory


• Organise departmental forecasts and reports in a clear and timely manner


• Manage and own our Customer Satisfaction

You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional aftersales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You will have experience in leading a highly motivated team and know how to get the best out of each team member. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
