Job summary

Pure Staff's Driving Team is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Avonmouth, Bristol for ongoing trunking and retail deliveries with a major national retailer. Afternoon starts are available, with shifts typically between 12:00 and 16:00 and optional Saturdays for extra hours.

You will work Monday to Friday with around 10-hour shifts, no handball required, and you’ll be paid £21.57 per hour with rolled-up holiday pay (holiday accrual option £2.? per hour).

Qualifications

• Have a valid UK Category C+E / Class 1 Licence.
• Holder must possess a valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• Digital Tachograph card is required.
• Experience with load securing and strapping is preferred.
• Strong safety-focused approach and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out HGV Class 1 trunking and retail store deliveries from Avonmouth.
• Work Monday to Friday with optional Saturday shifts.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours, Working Time, and site procedures.
• Load and unload tasks with emphasis on load security and strapping.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
