Job summary

Pure Staff Driving is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for Avonmouth, Bristol, offering consistent weekday work with afternoon starts and optional Saturday shifts. Pay rates include £21.57 per hour (rolled-up holiday pay) with additional options and loads security is a key requirement.

The role involves trunking and retail store deliveries, loads strapped and secured correctly, and adherence to Drivers' Hours and site procedures in a long-standing UK logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E / Class 1 Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Confident with strapping and securing loads.
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 trunking and retail store deliveries from Avonmouth.
• Strap and secure loads; complete vehicle and load checks.
• Ensure trailers and loads are contained before leaving site; complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow Drivers' Hours, Working Time and site procedures.
