Job summary

Nirvana Managed Services is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of a school facility under our management. This term-time role offers stable hours with shifts from 3 PM to 7 PM, five days a week, and a pro-rata monthly pay of £563.33.

You will help create a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors and enjoy pension contributions and holiday entitlement. Key duties include cleaning, dusting, sanitising, restocking supplies, and reporting safety

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough, high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise assigned areas, including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common spaces.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment thoroughly and regularly.
• Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal and segregation.
• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items as needed.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, health regulations, and cleaning protocols.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and courteous attitude at all times.
