Overview

We have immediate work for experienced Care Assistants looking for weekend work who live in the NG12 area of Nottingham. If so, we have work for you now.

Responsibilities
  • You will be supporting the residents living in the care home, assisting the friendly team of Carers who are working there.
  • You will be helping with the day-to-day activities and dealing with the clients who have a wide range of physical and mental disabilities.
  • Working as part of a friendly team in this residential home set in Nottingham NG12, you will support and care for the individuals, encouraging independence and contributing to the emotional wellbeing of everyone who makes this their home.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment.
  • Have a checkable work history.
  • Have up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates we can offer online training (additional fee).
  • Have an in-date enhanced DBS check. If your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you.

We are unable to offer support for visa applicants.

This is an ongoing opportunity.

Your typical hours will start at 14:00 and finish at 22:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
