Responsibilities

• As a care assistant will be supporting residents in their day tasks, facilitating hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• You will be expected to complete housekeeping tasks, follow health and safety guidelines, and accurately report condition updates and any incidents to senior staff members.
• Residents suffer with age related illnesses such as dementia and Alzheimer’s, therefore, supporting their psychological and physical well-being wellbeing is of utmost importance.

Qualifications

• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up-to-date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
• Have an in-date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

• This is an ongoing position.
• You will be working from 14:00 to 22:00 on various days between Monday to Friday
• £12.21 per hour going up to £16.24 per hour after 7pm
