As an Aftermarket PCE Technician, you will be responsible for safely disassembling, assembling, and testing Pressure Control Products, including BOPs, Lubricators, Toolcatchers, Quick Test Subs, Greaseheads, Check valves, Flanges, and Air-operated Hydraulic Control Modules. You will perform repairs, report quality issues, and support assembly improvements through innovative techniques and problem-solving. Supporting and assisting colleagues, reporting health and safety concerns, and adhering to all safety protocols are essential. The work quality must meet the highest standards, aiming for right first time, on time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to assemble equipment accurately.
2. Service and repair hydraulic systems according to designs and procedures, maintaining cleanliness.
3. Monitor materials, products, or equipment for defects or faults.
4. Support initiatives such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and cost of quality.
5. Maintain a safe, organized, clean work area following 5S and LEAN principles.
6. Support new techniques, products, and machinery purchases.
7. Generate and implement process improvement ideas and encourage team participation.
8. Respond to and implement process improvements proactively.
9. Participate in daily team briefings, discussing potential issues.
10. Ensure product quality meets NOV standards and maintain output levels.
11. Report issues via the engineering support system for design improvements.
12. Promote company policies, objectives, and safety procedures.
13. Follow inspection and FAT criteria without exception.
14. Work overtime as required by operational demands.

2. National Certificate in a relevant subject – essential
3. Higher education in a relevant subject – desirable

Experience:

1. Mechanical background – essential
2. Experience with PCE service and repair – advantageous

2. Forklift and overhead crane certificates – desirable
