Overview

Post: After School Provision Assistant
Grade: Band A - FTE £24,413
£4,320
Contract: Fixed Term until Friday 17th July 2026
Start Date: Immediate start
Hours: 7.5 per week
Weeks Per Year: Term Time Only
Days of working: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Start time: 3.00pm - 5.30pm

Required to start as soon as possible, subject to satisfactory clearances. The candidate must offer a degree of flexibility as required. Old Park Primary School Governing Body are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, motivated, caring and suitably qualified After School Provision Assistant. Teamwork is an essential part of our ethos and we are committed to the professional development of all of our staff.

Responsibilities

Support after-school provision activities and contribute to a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment for pupils. Work as part of a team to deliver planned activities in line with the school ethos. Demonstrate a willingness to participate in safeguarding procedures and professional development as required.

Qualifications and requirements

Essential: suitably qualified for the role. The post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role. As part of the appointment process, all staff have to undergo a DBS disclosure and safeguarding training. The school adheres to KCSIE requirements.
