Overview

This lovely family based in Croydon, London, is seeking a part-time nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The role involves all general nanny duties. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Hindi, Arabic, or Urdu and confident in preparing Halal meals. They are looking for a caring, reliable, and supportive nanny who can provide childcare and assist at home, as the mother has unfortunately suffered a stroke and needs extra help with her children. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours

Hours: Monday to Friday, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm (school holidays to be discussed).

Duties
  • Picking the children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
  • Bathing the children and maintaining proper hygiene
  • Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
  • Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
  • Putting the children to bed and supporting their evening routines
  • Encouraging early literacy by reading books with the children
  • Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
  • Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
