Job description

A family in Barnes Bridge is looking for an after-school nanny to care for their toddler and two school-aged children starting this August. The role will mainly run Monday to Friday, but flexibility to help on weekends is important. A valid first aid qualification is required. The family has a full-time housekeeper, so no cooking or housekeeping duties are needed, but the nanny should be comfortable around their two cats and one dog.

The ideal candidate will be degree-educated, have strong communication skills, and be confident managing multiple children. Someone who can intellectually engage and inspire the children would be especially welcome.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 3pm to6pm. Extra hours on Saturday morning and potentially some hours on Sunday.

Duties include:

preparing healthy meals and snacks
washing and dressing the children
helping with homework
doing after school activities with the children
preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
doing arts and crafts
taking the children to parks and playgrounds
preparing them for bed and reading them stories
The ideal start date is on the 20th of August 2025.
