Overview

This lovely family based in Eltham, London, is seeking an after-school nanny to care for their school-aged child. The role involves all general nanny duties, light housekeeping, and preparing well-balanced, nutritious meals. The nanny will also be expected to create a calm and happy environment in the afternoons and, whenever possible, share mealtimes with the child. A driver with their own car is required, and a valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties

• Collecting the child from school and providing attentive care until the parents return home
• Creating a calm, positive, and happy environment in the afternoons
• Supporting with homework and arranging engaging after-school activities
• Preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks tailored to the child’s needs, and sharing mealtimes whenever possible
• Managing the child’s laundry, including washing, ironing, and mending clothes
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organised bedroom, playroom, and all areas used by the child

Additional requirements

A driver with their own car is required, and a valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
