Job description

A lovely family based in Battersea, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. They are looking for someone warm, reliable, proactive, experienced, calm, and engaging, a nanny who can offer structure and consistency to the child’s daily routine. The family is expecting a new baby in December 2025, though no care for the baby will be required at this stage. They would prefer a native English speaker who can communicate exclusively in English to support the child’s early language development. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is essential for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, approximately 20 hours per week

Duties include:

Picking up the child from school
Creating a calm and positive environment for the afternoon
Supporting with homework and after-school activities
Preparing and sharing balanced, age-appropriate meals and snacks
Managing laundry, ironing, and occasional minor repairs of the child’s clothing
Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas tidy and well-organised
