Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced After School Maths Tutor in Erith to deliver 1:1 or small group sessions tailored to each learner’s needs. You will help students close gaps and progress toward GCSEs while building confidence.

The role involves working with vulnerable learners (SEND/SEMH) and requires patience, flexibility, and a nurturing approach. QTS or equivalent is essential, with safeguarding training preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification - essential.
• Minimum of 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK Maths curriculum.
• Experience with vulnerable learners including SEND/SEMH.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 or small group Maths tutoring.
• Tailor sessions to individual needs and gaps.
