After School Housekeeper for Family in Hampstead Garden Suburb

Enthusiastic and experienced housekeeper needed for a friendly family with twin boys aged 11, two working parents and a cat.
This position includes cleaning, ironing, cooking and assisting with the children.
We are looking for someone who is an experienced cook who would enjoy preparing healthy evening meals for the family and who is good-natured with high personal standards and excellent references.
Of special importance is someone who enjoys children, has fun interacting with them and takes an interest in them. The children are old enough to come home and do their homework and evening routine independently, but need someone to greet them and chat with them when they arrive home from school.
The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 3 or 4pm till 7pm, so 15 to 20 hours a week. There is potential for additional hours through babysitting and extra help over the school holidays if of interest. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Personal qualities required:
• Honesty and integrity
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Organised and attention to detail
• Good timekeeping / reliable
Responsibilities will include:
• Cooking balanced meals for the family
• Preparing healthy after-school snacks
• Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
• Hoovering, dusting and general tidying
• Washing and ironing clothes
Other required:
• Fluency in English
• Non-smoker
• Pet friendly
• UK working permit / right to work in UK
• Proof of address
• DBS check (or agree to apply for this)
• 2 checkable references
Full, clean UK driving licence is a plus but not essential.
£10-£12/hr net depending on skills and experience.
