Canary Wharf, E14 3NE
15 hours per week during term-time (3-6pm Monday to Friday) with up to 40 hours per week during school holidays
£14-17ph including London Weighting and Holiday Allowance(dependent on qualifications and experience)
Must hold an up to date and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare
We are recruiting for the leading provider of out of school hours childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and are looking for someone who is passionate about children’s play and activity.
In this role as an Early Years Lead, you will have overall responsibility for the management of the EYFS programme and any key children at your provision. You will plan programmes and lessons effectively within the company structure, monitor progress, inspire children, and deliver effective and efficient activities. You will also the opportunity to work in the holidays as part of activity and sport camps, which may or may not haveEarly Years children attending.
As an Early Years Lead, you will need to bring:
- A Passion for Working with Early YearsChildren -we're looking forsomeone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care,while inspiring them to explore their interests
- Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills - you willbe responsible with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, includingmulti-sports, indoor and outdoorgames, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play
-Responsibility and Reliability -the safety and enjoyment of thechildren in your care will beyour key responsibility. All team members are required tofollow specificpolicies and procedures,including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed, and the children and families also benefit from consistently reliable staff
- Communication and Engagement -all staff are expected to conduct themselvesprofessionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis. You will be arepresentative of the organisation's brand so it's key to always be a pleasure to be around!
