Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS or willing to acquire one & registered with annual update service.
  • Willing to meet training standards in Safeguarding, First Aid and Food Hygiene Level 2.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or managing groups of primary aged children.
  • Strong communication skills to demonstrate cookery techniques effectively.
  • The ability to positively manage the behaviour of a large group of young children.
  • Must have a driver's license and use of a car for travelling between schools.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual in primary education to join our team. As an After-School Cookery Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives by equipping them with essential life skills. This is a rewarding position for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working with children.

Duties
  • Communicate effectively with our Little Chefs to understand their learning needs and goals
  • Inspire and engage with our children
  • Collaborate with parents, carers and teachers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS or willing to acquire one & registered with annual update service
