A local primary school is seeking a Part-time After School Club/Wraparound Care Assistant to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children. This role involves monitoring pupils' progress and maintaining order during activities. Ideal candidates will be reliable, punctual, and have a fun outlook. The position is for 6 hours per week, with potential for additional cover. Candidates must be prepared for an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

Location Holy Redeemer Catholic Primary School, Priest Lane, Pershore, Worcs. WR10 1EB

Salary £3644 - £3701 per annum

Closing date 10 Oct 2025

6 hours per week - 3 hours per day, Wednesday and Friday, with potential for relief cover at other times

Required: As soon as possible - negotiable

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times
  • Monitor individual pupil's problems, progress, achievements and condition and report these to the designated supervisor as appropriate.
  • Maintain good order and keep pupils on task where appropriate.
  • Adhere to safeguarding duties at all times.
  • Ensure the high levels of behaviour and respect in line with expectations at our school.

You will need to:

  • be physically fit
  • be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance
  • possess a flexible and adaptable approach to job tasks
  • observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.
  • have a good sense of fun.
  • be a team player
