Job summary

Lazonby CofE School is seeking an After School Club Lead for a permanent role. The post is 11.25 hours per week over 5 days (3.15pm–5.30pm) with a pay rate of £13.77 per hour and pro rata salary of £25,989; term-time only (38 weeks).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification and experience of working with children in a school/care setting.

• Knowledge and willingness to engage children in learning through play, setting up activities, and helping children complete homework.

You will:

• have a relevant NVQ level 3 qualification and relevant experience of working with children in a school and/or care setting.
• a current 12 hour Paediatric First Aid certificate, food hygiene certificate, and safeguarding level 1 training - or willingness to work towards these.
• Knowledge and willingness to engage children in learning through play, setting up activities, and helping children complete homework.
• Be able to communicate at all levels and relate well to children and adults and establish a good rapport with pupils and their parents.
