Job summary

The Governors of Stainton CE Primary School wish to appoint an After-School Club assistant to support our very successful After-School Club. This post will be working alongside our current member of staff, delivering safe, creative and interactive provision for our children who attend After School Club.

6.45 hours per week; Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 3.15pm – 5.30pm term time. PCD 3 £26,016 per annum, pro rata (this includes the living wage top up hourly £13.45).

Qualifications

• Must hold a qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3.
• Energetic, caring, and able to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming environment and deliver high‑quality activities for children.
• Provide inclusive practice ensuring all children participate.
• Supervise children during activities and model positive behaviour.
• Support day‑to‑day organisation of the After‑School Club and relay correspondence.
