Job summary

Wansdyke School is seeking a dedicated Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in after-school club operations in Devizes, Wiltshire. The role is part-time (7 hours 10 minutes per week) with specific daily slots across Monday to Thursday for 38 weeks per year.

The successful candidate will assist with activities, maintain a safe environment, and demonstrate a warm, engaging approach with children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in play/educational settings.
• Food handling experience or willingness to obtain a certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and organizing activities for primary-aged children.
• Support the Wraparound Care Leader in day-to-day operations of the after-school club.
• Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for attendees.
• Support with safeguarding and health and safety practices.
