Job summary

Dulverton Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting children with a range of engaging play activities, preparing snacks with high hygiene standards, and fostering a safe and welcoming environment.

You will work closely with the After School Club Supervisor to enhance play provision and participate in professional development including First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Allergy Awareness.

• Help organise, lead and supervise a variety of engaging play activities and creative experiences tailored to the children's interests.
• Prepare and serve healthy, delicious snacks, ensuring high standards of hygiene and nutrition.
• Foster a warm, inclusive and positive environment where every child feels valued, supported and safe.
• Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and social interactions among pupils.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, orderly and stimulating environment before, during and after sessions.
• Work collaboratively with the After School Club Supervisor to support and continuously improve play provision across the school.
