Next Step Sport Ltd is seeking an After School Care Club Support worker at Brookwood Primary School in Woking, Surrey. This part-time role runs 15:00–18:00, up to 15 hours per week, term-time with potential to work during holiday periods.

You will support delivery of activities, assist snacks and meals, and help a small group of children under supervision. Training and development opportunities are encouraged.

• Previous experience or keen interest in working with children.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Good communication skills.

Hours: 15:00-18:00 (Up to 15 hours a week)

NSSport are seeking professionals who are interested in supporting an after-school club service for children and young people within a primary school. This is a fantastic job opening for individuals looking to gain experience or progress their career in childcare, with encouraged opportunities for professional development.

THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Supporting the overall delivery of the after-school care club service
• Supporting the delivery of and leading activities (including Arts & Crafts, Playground Games and Free Play for example)
• Supporting the manager in caring for a group of children and young people
• Supporting the provision of snacks and meals for children and young people

THE INDIVIDUAL MUST HAVE:

• Previous experience or a keen interest and knowledge in working with children and young people
• The ability to work well in a team
• Good communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/WILLINGNESS TO WORK TOWARDS:

• Food Hygiene and Safety certificate
• Safeguarding Children/Child Protection certificate
• A clear DBS certificate
• The above will be applied for on the individual's behalf

HOURS:

• Term Time: Up to 15 hours a week (15:00-18:00PM term-time only)
• Holiday Periods: Option available to work during holiday periods (more information available upon request)
