Job Description:

As the first overseas subsidiary of BYD group, our main focus is to provide European customers with new energy vehicles, rechargeable batteries, solar panels, energy storage systems and other new energy products, as well as related after-sales services.

Denza is the new brand from BYD. The world's largest manufacturer of electrified cars, headquartered in Shenzhen (China), is also coming to the UK this year with its new premium brand Denza. One of the first models from the new BYD brand is the Z9 GT shooting brake, featuring unique technical specifications.

As Denza enters the UK market, we are seeking a passionate and hands-on After-Sales Manager for the United Kingdom to support the successful market entry and long-term positioning of the brand. In this role, you will take the lead in establishing Denza’s After Sales operations in the UK, acting as a key project manager and interface between Denza and the existing BYD After Sales and network development organisation.

You will be responsible for building a robust service partner network, ensuring full-service readiness at launch, and overseeing key aftersales projects in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. This position offers the unique opportunity to help shape the customer experience of a premium EV brand from the ground up, while leveraging the infrastructure and know-how of BYD, one of the world’s leading new energy vehicle manufacturers.

You will report directly to the UK head of after-sales.

Working location: Uxbridge, London

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage Denza’s After Sales operations in the UK in strong cooperation with the network team
  • Act as the primary liaison between Denza and BYD's After Sales teams
  • Develop and manage a high-quality service partner network
  • Ensure full service readiness for market launch and beyond
  • Drive and manage cross-functional aftersales projects
  • All in close collaboration with BYD’s existing After Sales Organisation

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Strong experience in automotive After Sales operations and project management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with the UK automotive service standards and dealer/service network structures
  • Hands-on mentality with a structured, solution-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and to international locations. Approx. 50% travel
  • Valid UK driver’s license required
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably around 10 years
  • Has right to work in the UK
