Job summary

Hydrotec Contracts is seeking an office-based After-Sales Executive to support its maintenance contracts business, handling inbound queries, processing spare parts orders and driving new business from existing sites. You will work with the regional sales team to prepare quotations and run targeted campaigns, with a clear focus on achieving monthly and annual targets and earning commissions.

Qualifications

• Confident on the phone and able to sell maintenance contracts and spare parts.
• Motivated by targets and comfortable asking for the order.
• Able to communicate clearly with engineers and a wide range of customers.
• Willingness to learn the technical side of the role and the equipment we maintain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls and emails promptly, resolving queries or forwarding as needed.
• Process spare parts orders and coordinate delivery, including stock checks.
• Liaise with engineers to understand site findings and keep customers updated.
• Sell maintenance contracts and spare parts by phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations for service agreements, planned maintenance, remanent works, spare parts and upgrades.
• Follow up quotations and proposals through to order.
• Keep CRM up to date with quotations, opportunities and customer contact.
• Run focused campaigns on priority areas set by management.

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

After-Sales Executive purpose:

An office-based role supporting Hydrotec Contracts' maintenance contracts business, with two equal aims: giving customers a high level of service and bringing in new business from existing and dormant sites. The role supports the regional sales team and runs focused campaigns on priority areas. It carries monthly and annual sales targets with an associated commission/bonus scheme.

The successful After-Sales Executive will be responsible for:

• Answer inbound customer calls and emails promptly, resolving queries or passing them to the right person.
• Process spare parts orders and coordinate their delivery and assist with stock checks and inventory activities.
• Liaise with engineers to understand site findings and keep customers informed.
• Sell maintenance contracts and spare parts by phone and email.
• Prepare accurate quotations for service agreements, planned maintenance, remedial works, spare parts and upgrades.
• Follow up quotations and proposals through to order.
• Keep the CRM up to date with all quotations, opportunities and customer contact.
• Run focused campaigns on priority areas set by management, such as converting remedial works recommendations into orders.

The After-Sales Executive will have:

• Confident and professional on the phone.
• A genuine appetite for sales: motivated by targets, happy to ask for the order and persistent in following up.
• Able to communicate clearly with engineers and a wide range of customers.
• Willingness to learn about the technical side of the role, including the equipment and services we maintain.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Organised, accurate and able to manage a varied workload.
