Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Duties include repairing flooring, drywall, appliances; troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, safety, security, and HVAC systems; painting; and general cleaning and yard work. All tasks must adhere to company policies and safety protocols, supporting client satisfaction within the budget and management agreement.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out property maintenance and repairs, including unit turnovers and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency calls during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory within budget.
  • Prepare properties for inspections such as NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, and CALFHA standards.
  • Enforce community rules and regulations fairly and professionally.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or related fields such as hotel or facilities maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and pass medical fitness requirements.
  • Proficient in English, with basic computer skills.
  • Own tools may be required.
