We are recruiting for an Affiliate Technical Delivery Lead/Engineering Manager for a contract to start ASAP.
On-site presence required in Halifax 2 days per week.
Day rate: £550 - £600 per day

What you’ll bring to the table:

We’re seeking a dynamic Affiliate Technical Delivery Lead / Engineering Manager to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading a feature team of approximately four FTEs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions within a complex stakeholder environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical expertise to review code and guide development teams (hands-on coding is a plus, but not required)
• Proven experience managing complex delivery and stakeholder landscapes
• Familiarity with NodeJS, SQL, and Azure
• Experience leading teams in an agile environment (Scrum/SAFe)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor both onshore and offshore team members, providing technical guidance and ensuring code quality (NodeJS/SQL/Azure stack)
• Conduct code reviews, coach developers, and uphold best practices and design patterns
• Collaborate with product owners, customer journey managers, solution architects, and DevOps/platform teams to deliver solutions supporting the mortgage pricing journey
• Oversee QA processes and manage build pipelines and routes to live
• Work within a bespoke scaled agile framework; Scrum experience required, SAFe or similar frameworks preferred
• Ensure solutions meet requirements and architectural designs
