We're seeking an experienced Affiliate Partner Recruitment Lead to drive the growth of Shopify's affiliate marketing program across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role will focus on identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-value affiliates to accelerate Shopify Merchants' growth through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in partnership marketing in the B2B space.
Develop and implement strategic plans to identify, target, and onboard high-value affiliates across EMEA with a focus on content creators, industry influencers, and technology partners.
Use your extensive network, industry knowledge, and advanced research techniques to generate high-quality prospects
Engage with potential affiliate partners to understand their business model, audience, and growth objectives, providing tailored partnership opportunities that align with Shopify's affiliate program.
Actively build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners, demonstrating a data-driven approach to forecasting and prioritizing recruitment efforts.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including affiliate marketing operations, compliance, and technical integration teams, to ensure smooth partner onboarding and activation.
Stay informed about affiliate marketing trends, competitor programs, and Shopify's product updates to effectively position partnership opportunities and optimize program performance.
Extensive experience in affiliate/partnership marketing, with a focus on partner recruitment
Proficiency in English is required; additional language is a plus
Proven experience in affiliate partnership development or similar business development role, within the B2B or SaaS space
Demonstrated passion for hunting and acquiring new partnerships, with a proven success to identify and close high-value opportunities
Ability to navigate partnership negotiations and engage with multiple stakeholders across different organization levels
Experience with affiliate networks, tracking platforms, and CRM tools
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating partnership value propositions and program benefits effectively
