Our Role
The Affiliate Online Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting in the planning, delivery, execution, and reporting of all Affiliate activity, alongside providing general support to the team. This includes providing weekly reports, analyzing performance, and taking a proactive approach to support team members in other areas as needed. A key aspect of this role is having an expert understanding of The White Company brand values, coupled with excellent communication skills.
What you'll be doing
Campaign Activity
- Coordinate and implement all Affiliate activity
- Maintain relationships with affiliate agencies and networks through daily contact and feedback
- Brief seasonal launches, sales, and events across departments, ensuring creative and copy are on brand
- Research and develop new ideas; stay updated on online marketing and channel opportunities
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and maintain relationships with Trading, Press, Social, Creative, and Product teams
- Provide daily and weekly reports on key metrics with summaries
- Monitor KPIs such as coverage, demand, traffic, CPAs, commissions, overrides, and conversions
- Brief and approve publisher and influencer content, managing content delivery and communicating brand values effectively
Commercial Awareness
- Stay informed about competitor activity online, on social media, and in retail
- Attend stores regularly to understand retail strategy and key products
- Understand the customer journey on-site and technical aspects of the website
- Attend industry events and courses to optimize channel performance with the best tools
Reporting and Analysis
- Manage daily reporting tasks
- Support the Affiliates & Paid Social Manager with weekly activity summaries
- Provide ad hoc reports as needed
Skills & Experience
- Experience in online marketing, preferably in Affiliate channels
- Familiarity with industry tools and analytics such as Adobe Analytics is advantageous
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and storytelling skills
- Proficiency in Excel, with strong numerical and analytical skills
- Sales, negotiation, and implementation skills
- Passion for online and multi-channel retail
- Effective communicator, proactive, team-oriented
- Attention to detail, excellent time management, ability to work under pressure
