Job description

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Affiliate & Partnerships Manager to join our Digital Marketing team. This is a pivotal role for Gymshark, responsible for championing all aspects of affiliate and partnerships across our global markets.

You will be instrumental in driving forward our strategy, identifying, nurturing, and optimising relationships that deliver significant growth and brand impact. You will also lead a small team, exploring new, innovative partnerships that help us become this generation's 100-year brand.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

We’re looking for someone with a few years’ hands-on experience managing affiliate programmes, either in-house or through an agency, to take ownership of our growing affiliate network. This is a commercially focused role, suited to someone who is data-led, strategically minded, and well-informed on the latest trends and challenges in the affiliate space.

You’ll be responsible for managing a range of affiliate partners of varying sizes, with proven experience in driving customer acquisition through performance-based partnerships. A key part of the role involves identifying and onboarding new affiliates that align with our brand and support our wider growth goals.You’ll work closely with one Affiliate Executive and have the autonomy to shape and scale the programme in line with broader commercial objectives.

  • Develop and execute a global, innovative and disruptive short to mid-term channel strategy, aligned with the global campaign calendar and marketing initiatives, to drive revenue and new customer growth.
  • Translate wider commercial objectives into a focused channelstrategy, to ensure targets are achieved and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new strategic partnerships that elevate our brand and drive new customer growth.
  • Cultivate and expand our existing partnerships, actively seeking new opportunities to drive incremental revenue and mutual growth.
  • Manage the channel budget across all regions, strategically positioning us commercially to maximise performance and achieve positive ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with other marketing channels to develop and execute an aligned omni-channel strategy and cross-channel campaigns across key markets.
  • Partner with internal and external Product and Tech teams to ensure tracking is robust and act on industry changes.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the channel remains adaptable and embraces innovative execution methods.
  • Coach, mentor and upskill direct reports based on role requirements.

Accountable for

Own a key performance channel that directly supports broader business goals and commercial objectives.

Provide regular reporting on channel performance, offering clear insights into trends, the effectiveness of new initiatives, and areas for optimisation.

Oversee budget planning and allocation, ensuring efficient investment to maximise channel performance and ROI.

Drive the development of a high-performing affiliate programme, with full accountability for incremental revenue and delivery against key targets.

Proactively identify and capitalise on innovative growth opportunities to scale the channel.

Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across the customer journey by aligning closely with other digital marketing channels.

Collaborate with Partnerize to maintain industry-leading tracking and attribution, delivering strong results for all stakeholders.

Lead the strategic expansion of the channel across key markets, adapting plans to market dynamics and commercial priorities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Proven track record of scaling affiliate programs globally with measurable revenue impact.
  • Expert understanding of the affiliate landscape, publishers, platforms, and networks – experience with Partnerize would be preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate data into strategy, turning performance insights into scalable initiatives with limited supervision.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, including senior stakeholders, with a clear vision for the channel.
  • Highly commercial and analytical individual, with an understanding of the underlying economic metrics involved in partnerships and their broader strategic implications.
  • Skilled in both budget management and team leadership within a digital marketing context.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
