Job summary

Seismic Recruitment is seeking a skilled Machine Setter Operator for an aerospace components facility in Bristol. The role involves setting and operating thread-rolling and manual machines to produce high-precision parts, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and FOD reduction.

You will maintain housekeeping, complete production data accurately, and work within TPM procedures. The position requires attention to detail, good dexterity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly/manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is advantageous.
• High level of attention to detail required.
• Good manual dexterity and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate threadrolling machines safely and efficiently to produce conforming components.
• Operate manual machines when required.
• Perform routine maintenance per TPM procedures.
• Use precision measurement equipment to verify specifications.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE policies.
• Accurately complete production data forms both physical and digital.
• Communicate effectively with team and management and model company values.
• Be willing to learn and teach others per Competence Management procedures.
• Support colleagues to maximise production output.
• May work alternative shifts/hours and perform other duties as directed.
