Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is hiring a Test Technician to join our expanding operations team.

The role involves performing routine and non-routine material tests on specimens, ensuring timely and accurate results under supervision, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance with procedures. The successful candidate will work largely independently, interpreting engineering drawings and setting up tests to meet customer specifications, while maintaining LIMS records and

Qualifications

• Good general education including English, Maths and Science.
• Higher qualification in Engineering and ability to read/interpret drawings is advantageous.
• Safety rules and company procedures must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform material tests on specimens for the Aerospace Sector.
• Ensure specimens and test equipment are prepared and used per procedures.
• Conduct direct/indirect mechanical and physical testing of metallic materials.
• Complete LIMS worksheets accurately in line with Element quality system.
• Order laboratory consumables as needed.
• Demonstrate testing to visitors, inspectors and auditors when required.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping across all activities.
• Enforce Health & Safety in working areas.
• Enforce Element Quality System in working areas, including equipment maintenance.
