Akkodis is seeking 5 Aerospace Systems Test Engineers at multiple levels to support aircraft systems integration, verification and test activities in North Bristol. The roles cover hands-on testing through to senior coordination and leadership across test benches and environments.

Ideal candidates will have aerospace systems engineering experience, knowledge of Landing Gear/Braking/Steering, and strong data analysis skills. Familiarity with DOORS, Python and MATLAB is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience within aerospace systems engineering, integration, V&V or test.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, incl. Landing Gear, Braking and/or Steering.
• Experience with test documentation and lab/test environments.
• Strong test data analysis, troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with requirements traceability and configuration management.
• Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Excel, Python, MATLAB or similar engineering/test tools.
• ATA32 knowledge useful but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Systems integration, verification and validation of aircraft systems.
• Preparation, execution and reporting of engineering test activities.
• Working with laboratory rigs, test benches and aircraft-level test environments.
• Analysis of test data and investigation of system or software issues.
• Fault finding, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Requirements traceability, configuration management and change impact analysis.
• Supporting certification and product verification activities.
• Working closely with systems, software, test and wider engineering teams.
• At more senior levels, coordinating test activities, managing test benches and providing technical guidance.
