Job Description

At ALTEN, we are at the forefront of innovation, partnering with world-renowned aerospace companies to drive cutting-edge engineering solutions. We are looking for a Systems Engineer - Fuel Systems to join our team and support exciting aerospace projects.

Your Role:

As a Systems Engineer specialising in Fuel Systems, you will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of advanced aerospace systems. You will work within a dynamic team, applying your expertise in fluid mechanics, controls, and indication systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Conducting system requirements analysis, architecture design, and integration activities for fuel systems in aerospace applications.
2. Leading verification and validation processes to ensure system functionality meets industry standards and customer requirements.
3. Supporting aerospace certification processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
4. Performing system safety analysis and reliability engineering to assess and enhance system performance and dependability.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

1. A degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
2. A strong technical background in fuel systems, fluid mechanics, control systems, and indication technologies.
3. Proficiency in DOORS (required), with experience in FloMaster being highly desirable.
4. Knowledge of aerospace certification processes and experience with system safety analysis and reliability engineering.
